KETO FRENCH TOAST | How to make an EGG LOAF | Best Keto Breakfast!!


The weekends are when breakfast magic happens in our house. I love converting our breakfast favorites in to keto recipes. My boys love french toast. When I heard about the egg loaf and how it can be used to make Keto French Toast, I was scouring the internet, looking for keto egg loaf recipes to try. I came up with my own of course…

In this video, I show you how to make a keto egg loaf and turn it into the most flavorful, thick cut of keto french toast you will ever have. It tastes exactly like french toast. In fact, my kids couldn’t tell the difference.

This keto breakfast recipe is perfect for that lazy Saturday or Sunday morning when you have a little bit of extra time and want to cook your family up a special keto meal. You can slice the egg loaf thin or slice it thick (my favorite). Then cook it on a griddle with a dab of butter for a crispy outside.

8 oz cream cheese, softened
4 eggs
4 tablespoons butter, melted
¼ cup heavy cream
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 tablespoons Swerve, or sweetener of choice
¼ cup coconut flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Add all the ingredients to a bowl or blender and mix together until cream cheese is fully incorporated. Pour into a loaf pan lined with damp parchment paper. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. The egg loaf should be firm to the touch but will deflate as it cools. Once cooled slice up into desired thickness.

To make keto french toast, heat a griddle or skillet over medium heat. Add 1-2 tablespoons of butter. Fry each slice in the pan or griddle until crisp and browned on each side. Top with ChocZero maple syrup!!!
